The Ordinary – Anything but Ordinary!

I have been a fan of the brand The Ordinary ever since my bestie gave me a sample of this magical 10-minute exfoliating facial.

We actually call it ‘the blood’ because it literally looks like blood. It is amazing…..my skin looks brand new after I use it, my routine is to use it once a week on the weekend so I am all fresh for the week and considering it only costs $7.20 for a bottle….it is magical!

A couple of months ago I did a little research on all of their products because I was looking for a budget friendly skin regime and it that is one thing I can say about The Ordinary is that their products are very budget friendly. So I figured if what I purchased wasn’t as magical as ‘the blood’ then it wouldn’t hurt my wallet much.

I ordered everything from Beautylish and let me just say they do a great job with their packaging….unboxing was like Christmas morning, the day everything arrived. The other thing I want to say about Beautylish is their shipping is FAST!!

I have been using the following products for the last couple of months and I think they have definitely improved my skin!  The lines and wrinkles are less noticeable and my skin tone is more even. I have received several comments about how good my skin looks too and who wouldn’t love that?!?

I used this Regime Guide to help me choose which products I wanted to try.

I have been following this regime pretty religiously, aside from the couple of times a week I use my absolute favorite Midnight Recovery Concentrate from Kiehls….mostly because I love the smell of it and it makes my skin super soft, but that is for another blog :).

Back to The Ordinary I also purchased this moisturizer and this primer.

I like the whole premise of The Ordinary and how they develop all the products in their line. The following is the statement from their about page, to give you an idea of what they are all about.

 

I am happy with all of the products and how they work. The only thing I will say is that the primer doesn’t smell pleasant….but it works really well! I highly recommend all of the products I mentioned and encourage all of you to give The Ordinary a try if you are in the market for a new skin care routine!!
